Before joining JDXpert, Andrew was the founder and managing partner of KeelBoat Capital, an investment entity formed for the sole purpose of finding and investing in one great company.
Prior to KeelBoat, Andrew worked for more than seven years at General Electric (GE). At GE, Andrew started in the Financial Management Program (FMP) and graduated to become a member of the Corporate Audit Staff (CAS). He then chose to leave CAS early to join GE Lighting to eventually become a Product Manager for the Consumer Lighting business. In his time at GE Andrew held many different roles across multiple functions and business units, helping him to become a well-rounded and inquisitive leader.
Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Boston College and a Master of Business Administration from Carnegie Mellon University. Ellerhorst and his wife Danielle recently moved to Raleigh, from Pittsburgh and have three children (Natalie, Josie, and Ben).
Throughout his career, Don Berman has been a driving force in the world of HR and talent management technology, collaborating with both domestic and international companies to empower them with innovative solutions. As the co-founder and business development lead of JDXpert, Don was instrumental in the company’s pivot towards a job description-centric model, which has helped establish JDXpert as a market leader in job description management solutions. Currently leading the company’s sales, thought leadership, and partnership initiatives, Don’s unparalleled expertise and guidance are instrumental in shaping JDXpert’s direction and driving its continued growth.
Melissa has 14+ years of experience delivering business value through idea-to-scale instructional leadership and facilitation, meticulous project management, and strategic executive-level relationship management within early-stage organizations.
As the Head of People at JDXpert, Melissa is responsible for the employee experience. Her passion for building a people-first culture has been the driving force behind her engaging strategies that motivate, support and fulfill team members. In her day-to-day role, Melissa wears multiple hats, ranging from developing hiring plans, coaching and mentoring employees to help them identify and foster their core strengths, working with senior leadership on organizational design to meet and exceed business goals, and managing compliance, performance, benefits, and compensation programs.
Melissa received her undergraduate degree from Queens University of Charlotte and went on to earn an M.B.A from Wake Forest University.
Ashley Johnston is a marketing professional who is committed to helping companies tell stories that accelerate brand recognition and drive corporate success. After 15+ years working in the marketing and advertising field and over 10 years at JDXpert, Ashley knows what is required to cultivate brand recognition, generate buzz and drive company growth.
Ashley currently holds the title of Director of Marketing and is also a faculty member at Mount Aloysius College where she shares her passion for business and communications with undergraduate students. Prior to her time with JDXpert, she held positions at established firms specializing in advertising, marketing, public relations and graphic design. She also holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Saint Francis University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Pennsylvania State University.
Ben leads the finance and accounting functions at JDXpert, which encompasses financial reporting, audit requirements, budgeting and forecasting, and corporate compliance. As a CPA with a background in public accounting and financial management experience across a range of industries, Ben has helped build and scale our financial operations and is responsible for implementing the overall financial strategy of the business.
Ben earned his undergraduate degree from Auburn University and a Master of Accounting degree from the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School. He lives in Raleigh with his wife and two children, though you can frequently find him on the NC coast or planning his family’s next travel adventure.
Andrea leads the implementation, customer success, professional services, and support functions at JDXpert. Prior to her current role, Andrea was the Director of Customer Success at JDXpert where she streamlined customer success processes and built out the first customer success program at JDXpert.
Prior to JDXpert, she held a senior supervisory and a business analyst role, where she led significant process changes, driving the growth and development of the support, returns, finance, and data management teams at Partsearch Technologies, Inc. in the Greater New York City area.
Andrea holds a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology and a Master of Business Administration from the State University of New York at New Paltz. She is an advocate and volunteer for various charitable organizations, including the Girl Scouts of America, the ASPCA, and NAMI. She enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time with her husband and three children.
Phil Mosely is the Chief Technical Officer at JDXpert and leads the technology teams for the company. Phil’s Agile Scrum software development team delivers innovation and deep technical support for all JDXpert products while the infrastructure team manages all SaaS hosting environments with a focus on security, reliability, and scalability.
Phil brings more than 3 decades of experience as an engineering and business leader. Prior to JDXpert, Phil was the Executive Vice President of Operations at RMS where he led the company’s software development and systems teams as well as support and implementation. Phil spent his early career as President and partner at OnSphere and DB Basics, delivering software products and services. Phil attended North Carolina State University in Electrical Engineering.
